Stephanie R. Lawton, CPA, Is Promoted to Senior Auditor at Fagliarone Group CPAs

UTICA, N.Y., August 6, 2002 - Stephanie R. Lawton, CPA, was recently promoted to Senior Auditor at Fagliarone Group CPAs. She has been with the firm since 1999 and previously held the position of staff accountant.

Lawton, in her new role as Senior Auditor, will be responsible for internal and external accounting and auditing services, including the preparation of financial statements for the firm's financial institution, nonprofit and municipal clients. She also has responsibilities for tax preparation for individuals and corporations.

Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Lawton spent two years at another public accounting firm. A graduate of McIntosh College and Siena College, she resides in Oriskany with her husband.

Fagliarone Group CPAs, P.C., an independent member of the BDO Seidman Alliance, is a regional Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm with offices in Syracuse, Auburn, Utica and Oswego. Established in 1972, the firm specializes in a wide range of financial services for both individuals and businesses, including tax planning and preparation, auditing and financial planning services.
